1. Who we are (Data Controller)

The data controller for this website is Vascar S.A., Vaslui, Romania — a company registered in Romania, operating under European Union law, with this website hosted on servers in the EU. For any privacy-related request, contact us at office@vascar.ro.

2. What personal data we collect and why

This website collects personal data in one situation only: when you submit the contact / quote request form. The data collected — name, company, business email, phone (optional), country and the content of your message — is used exclusively to respond to your enquiry and to conduct the resulting business correspondence.

The legal bases are your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), given via the mandatory checkbox in the form, and steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We do not use your data for marketing, we do not sell it, and we do not use automated decision-making or profiling. 3. How long we keep your data

Enquiry emails are retained for as long as necessary to handle the business relationship, and no longer than 3 years after the last contact, unless a contract or a legal obligation requires a longer period.

4. Who can access your data

Your enquiry is delivered to our company mailbox (office@vascar.ro) via the form-delivery provider Web3Forms, acting as processor, and is accessible only to the Vascar staff who handle export enquiries and to our IT infrastructure providers acting as processors. We do not transfer your data outside the European Economic Area.

5. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify or erase your personal data, the right to restrict or object to processing, the right to data portability, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal). To exercise any of these rights, email office@vascar.ro — we respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian supervisory authority: ANSPDCP (Autoritatea Națională de Supraveghere a Prelucrării Datelor cu Caracter Personal), www.dataprotection.ro, or with the supervisory authority of your own EU member state.

6. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, form data is transmitted encrypted, and form processing includes technical measures against abuse. Access to enquiry data is limited to authorised personnel.
