Vascar was founded in 1984 in Vaslui, in the heart of Romania's historic Moldova region — a land with one of Europe's richest culinary traditions. What began as a regional cannery has grown, with 100% Romanian capital, into one of the country's most respected food manufacturers: an integrated facility where more than 400 people produce canned meat, pâtés, ready meals, soups and vegetable products, alongside cold cuts, semi-prepared products and chilled or frozen ready meals.
Generations of Romanians have grown up with our recipes. That heritage is not a slogan — it is a working method: authentic recipes, honest ingredients and patient sterilisation, executed today on modern lines under internationally audited food-safety systems.
